For many years I often thought about taking up a new career in dog grooming.
I trained at Hartpury College in Gloucestershire and also with Canine Comforts who are renowned worldwide. I am City and Guilds level 3 qualified and regularly attend grooming seminars to enable me to keep up-to-date with new grooming techniques.
I have also completed and passed canine first aid first responders course and microchipping.
In 2017, I made the jump opening the Bark ‘n’Bubbles Spa and now live the dream, grooming dogs on a one-to-one basis full time.
I have always had an affinity with dogs, my first dog was a German Shepherd.
Over the years I have enjoyed working with my dogs within the obedience, agility and showing disciplines. More recently, I have had Leonbergers and participated in water rescue training with the Wiltshire Wet Leos Club.
I treat all dogs as I would my own, with respect, care and kindness.

The Purpose of this qualification is for learners to understand Canine Structure and Anatomy, Style, Shape, and Symmetry, Clipping and Styling Techniques, handling Toy breeds and Senior Dogs, working with Double Coated Dogs.
The learner must demonstrate:
